Amazing I Love to Read events and activities are happening in school library learning commons throughout Manitoba and we want to hear about them!

 

Share details of your library’s great I Love to Read celebrations for an opportunity to win one of two $150.00 prizes through MSLA.

 

To qualify:

• You must be a current member of MSLA to enter

• Your school has not won in the past five years

• One entry per Manitoba school per year is allowed

 

Submissions must clearly include:

• Your name, school, school division, grades of students involved, and your email address

• A minimum 500 word written description of your I Love to Read celebrations

 

Prize funds are intended to offset the cost of future reading celebrations and activities, including bringing an author to your school, defraying costs for attending the MYRCA Awards ceremony in the fall, or to purchase books for your library.

 

Qualifying entries are to be submitted via email to Leanne Falconer at mslaadvocacy@gmail.com no later than March 31, 2020.

 

Winners will be chosen at the following MSLA Board meeting by random draw. Winners will be notified via email and a cheque (made out to the school) will be subsequently mailed out. 

 

Please note: Acceptance of prize funds signifies your commitment to submit an article for our 2020 spring journal on your I Love to Read celebrations and intentions for the funds. (The article may be the same or similar to your contest submission and is expected to include a photograph.) Submissions may also be used on MSLA’s website.
